UK holiday entitlement calculator

Almost every worker in the UK is entitled to 5.6 weeks of paid holiday a year. See what that means for your working pattern.

Statutory minimum holiday

28 days

Bank holidays can count towards this.

How it's calculated

Multiply the days you work each week by 5.6. The legal cap is 28 days, so someone working six days a week still gets 28 days, not 33.6. Employers can give more than the minimum, and NHS staff on Agenda for Change contracts do get more. Use our NHS annual leave calculator for that.
